EBay advice please????

Sold something on eBay man picked up, now days later want to bring item back to me and have his money back!! It was pick up only

What u guys think about this

Depends on what is wrong with the item.

If you allowed this guy to come to your house. Best you just refund and let it go.

If you met at a secure location and he has no clue where you live. You can ask what the issue is and why the refund request.

Never allow someone to come to your home to pick up an item.

More info like his reason would be helpful and what the item is.

If he paid you CASH upon pick up he cant get a refund for this item, You can tell him, "I'll take the item back and you can bring it back but I cant give you a refund of any kind, however you can resell it"

But if he paid you in paypal he can file a case against you. NEVER TAKE PAYPAL PAYMENTS FOR LOCAL PICK UP ITEMS it has to BE CASH ONLY UPON LOCAL PICK UP.

If he didnt use paypal the worse he can do is leave you bad feedback which you will live threw. Or you can tell him to take you to small claims court if he paid cash to see how a judge would deside if he deserves a refund or not.

Remind him that your auction clearly stated: NO RETURNS and refuse to take it back. Also remind him that you are not running a shop like Curry's or PC World and that if he wanted a warranty on your item, he should have bought from them instead for double the price. Finally threaten him that you will call the police if he turns up at your doorstep.

What's his reason for bringing it back, If its faulty and this wasn't stated in the advert then he has a case otherwise it's sold as seen without any warranty or guarantee

If he paid cash-on-collection, tell him to go whistle.

If he paid by paypal, accept the return, subject to no detriement in item condition and refund.
