Probably not. Look at this one: http://damperclamp.com/

They just sell one thing.

Hi Pororo

I'd say "Yes". Reason here is, you are making a quality stuffs to sell online, but you may have already seen that most of the stuffs are being online since a long time before. In such a case, it's a right option to avail an appealing web design that lets the users to find what they really want in a minimal clicks.

Navigation speaks more in designing. Try impressing the user who arrives the site, as they would look in for more products/search more only if the site is presented fairly well. Cost would be their next priority shown up.

Good luck!

Certainly appearance as well as small layout details effect sales conversion rates, a glossy over-designed professional looking site is not always the best seller, people using paid advertising to get prospects in particular have to optimize their site design to make it profitable, successful sales sites use split-testing to evaluate a series of design variations in order to find the best selling design.

the important matter for your website is your content..if you are providing bad quality of content, whether you have good looking page or not, people will not come..but having a good looking page will give you some credits for people to come visit your page ..=D
