Does my website look dated?

I am a designer and I specialize in web design and development.

This is something you can answer yourself to some extent, or hire someone that would do it for you ... don't worry, I am not selling you anything XD

You need to have a good sense of your target audience (which I am sure you have) and pay attention to their feedback about your website and your company's image. If they are ok with your website and it works for you, then it is an "ok website", if they love it, then it is a "grate website".

If you are to address the question properly you need to tell me also about your overall strategy, what you want from your website, how it is supposed to deliver it and how it relates with the rest of your company's image.

Check your web traffic analytics to see if people are getting involved in your website once they find it or just bouncing elswere.

This is needed to know if it is or not outdated in regard to you potential customers expectations.

I would not describe it as dated but it looks as though it has been made by someone who hasn't made many other websites before, not being mean, I'm just being constructive. I would make it wider, you know, like this page spreads across your whole screen whatever the size, and the writing and positioning of things look a bit tacky. It's not a completely bad website but it's not great.

Graham,

Its completely your wish either to redesign it or keep as it is. The purpose you own may decide now.

Best wishes

If you are confident about your web site then every thing is okay..but if you want some work you check this

I have built my website for my DJ business and think it looks pretty good. I updated it atleast twice a week with new info, pics and videos so the content is always new.

I received a call from a web design company who wished to rebuild my website, do my SEO etc. I didn't really have any interest in this but thought I would ask why they thought it needed rebuilt (they had no idea I had built it myself and assumed it was done by another company).

He said the main page looked good and he would keep that, but the pages inside look dated. I am looking for some general opinions. I understand he was trying to convince me to part with cash but it has somewhat dented my confidence in my website.

It is www.5stardiscos.com

Thanks in advance for your help.
