Banks no longer do loans unless you have collateral and a job. And good credit.

You can try but I have a feeling you won't get the loan if you have no job. How are you going to pay it back?

If you have good credit and some collateral

they will not loan you money for that.

So I want to move to boston and apply for the police acdemy but I can't apply in jersey cause you have to be licensed to drive in the state of Massachusetts. So I was wondering could I take a loan out of the bank and use that to get an apartment and pay for everything until I graduate from the acdemy and get hired
