Sharing the same bedroom with new tenant?

Yes its too weird & no its not common. Most people would NEVER agree to share a bedroom with a stranger. It is awkward enough sharing the common area & bathroom. No you cannot even consider this without landlord approval. If you sublease without approval you can get evicted & sued.

You can try anything but sharing a bedroom is normally reserved for people who know each other well and share some commonalities. The situation you describe would not make me comfortable for yourself or for any potential renter.

First you would need the LL's permission and sharing a room you will not get permission. Besides it is illegal in most States.

I doubt anyone wants to live in the same bedroom as a total stranger! It sounds creepy to me.

Don't do it. Too many possible issues to list. If you can't afford your place, look for something cheaper that you can handle yourself.

that's gay....whats the problem

A lot of people put up advertisements regarding spare rooms that they want to rent to strangers.

I live in a relatively expensive flat (as a tenant) and I would like to cut the cost down, but I don't have a whole other room to rent. I would like to bring someone in to live in the same room with me and share the rent. Would you say it's too weird? Is this common? Is there some website for this thing? Again, I'm not talking about renting the entire room! I'm talking about living in the same bedroom! Many many thanks in advance!
