Good luck with the business! :) I believe the first few companies receive a free month on the homepage carousel which will give you even more online presence! I don't really think linkedin will work too well. I've run facebook and linkedin ads, and they haven't really worked too well.
Hope this helps! :)
For a small printing company there are many things you can do to promote yourself both online and off. Get that company page up on LinkedIn and start using that as a promotional tool. You can run ads on linkedIn or thorough Google adwords and target your specific area. Drop flyers off in the area, anyway you can get the word out the better.
Another great way to generate more business is to ask for referrals from your current customer base. This is often overlooked and can be a great source of fresh clients. I'm a provider of small business CRM software to help businesses grow their sales by getting better organized with their existing client database. We will incorporate referral specials to existing clients through our automated drip marketing campaigns. Now you may not necessarily need a CRM software but should develop a plan to ask for more referral's from your already happy customers. You will be surprised at what it can do for you.
Cheers
Self serve internet advertising, like Google Adwords or Facebook ads can be geo targeted to only reach people within driving distance if there is no mail order business planned. In Adwords you carefully choose and test search keywords that someone ready to buy would enter like "screen printing ink".
On Facebook which tends to work best for more casual consumer oriented stuff you might be able to target people expressing an interested in designer shirts.
Providing a screen printing information web site with informative articles is a way to get 'free' traffic from search engines, one would soft well the store with a passing mention of the phone#, etc.
If you are running a small business then LinkedIn can be the best choice for your business because LinkedIn is not only limited to company pages it contains many other features that can help you marketing your business. Recently, I read an article and found many LinkedIn marketing tools there you may also check that article: http://www.genetechsolutions.com/blog/un...
Additionally, also activate your social media platforms and engage your audience, post your products to classified posting websites. I hope it will help you :-)
It sounds like you need a leg up in what your business is offering to people. I would look into what the other people mention as those are possibly ways you could promote.
I would be interested to see what your products are, who your target market is and what your past, current and future clients are interested in. That could be very helpful for the the business' mainstay.
Feel free to contact me. I would like to help you further than I can here. I am always in conception mode.

I've been doing research on this one but everything I find is either geared towards starting your own business or DIY T-Shirts. Close, but not close enough (basically what Google's infamous for). I'm looking for any information about promoting a small screen printing business that also sells screen printing supplies locally. No web shop involved (the owners aren't interested in maintaining one).
Thus far I've looked at a handful of free local business listings (and linkedin apparently does company pages) but it still feels like I'm missing something.
