I have had much success off of quibids, bidding and winning 2 Ping men's jackets, a ring, a necklace, and several gift cards...but I will warn you about a few things:
(1) Each time you bid, it costs you about $.60...so don't sit there all day clicking bid and watching your bids go away....it is actually costing you money!
(2) Notice the start time of the item you want and then wait until about 20 seconds are left before placing your first bid. When you do this, either you will win the bid because nobody else is watching the item or you will watch a bidding war between a couple of other people until one gets tired. When you wait until the 20 second point, the last man standing usually wins the item.
(3) Make sure to figure out what style and color the item is BEFORE you bid on it, otherwise, you are just wasting bids and money
(4) Notice that the big ticket items (like electronics) start their opening around the mid morning or mid-afternoon. This is because there is a lot more competition to win the item and quibids is making the money off all the bidding going on. It is best to try to win smaller items or small value gift cards to your favorite restaurant or store early in the morning (like 6:00 am). Funny thing is, there is a ton of competition late at night as well, as I staying up to 1:00 am one time trying to figure out when the competition would leave! lol
It's worth it if you have nothing else to do because you CAN win some great things for a small amount of money (and that includes the shipping cost as well).
~Good luck and happy bidding!
Quibids does not need bolts. They make enough money to risk their business model. But users with deep pockets won't care how much they spend. They do not loose money, probably they sell wins and buy more bids. It is hard to win but I have. I played too safe bidding only at walmart gift cards that are the harder to get. Home depot card also. I never risk to bid without knowing in advance that I was going to buy it. Checking first if the price was not inflated. I did not loose but did not win significantly too much. There is too much curiosity about the site and Just join it because at first is easy to win. You will not loose the first $60.00 dollars if you calculate carefully to get it back by all means using your "real" bids to buy the item you want. Make the most of the beginners page is up only once. You have to wait a long time until you get something valuable. It is the only easy chance you get. With the bids left. do the same, still you will be send to pages with lots of auctions. I would join a high price item that I planned to buy anyway. There is possibilities to get an awesome deal. The honey moon does not last. Later you will be send to only power bidders and few 2-3 auctions impossible to win. For the regular user. Close your account you are doom. Click my link
http://qb.cm/r26822382 it doesn't work anyway. I am doom and hope to finish my bids. I tried, and bid on a 250 bid pack and won. But I will use it as a backup to buy a $300. 00 camara. Still I don't think I will win it. But It will cost me the same to buy it on Amazon. I need all the bids I can get to back up. There is a slight chance that I may get it cheaper. Don't be afraid to join Quibids, It is the only safe to bid penny auction that I trust. They care about the users because they are making tons of money. Every time you see an item selling for $1.00. It means it is being sold for $60.00 dollars. $1.00 are 100 bids from different people one winner. Remember? first pack 100 bids for $60.00? Your fist investment to join. Help me click my link. http://qb.cm/r26822382
Also Voucher bids are being sold for full price, when you do not win and have to buy it. People pay full price. And still they can not be used for buy it items because even though people pay full price for them. They are voucher bids. All the informations is on the Site. No small print. They are very open and great graphics a lot of fun at the beginning. Doom at the end.
quibids is not a scam they generate money buy charging 60 cents a bid and youre only buying items from the people that are selling the item quibids is just a host site it. if you bought something or won something from bidding on it then you would just get your item a few days later in the mail. its not really this complex thing its just like buying from ebay or amazon.
They do maintain a decent BBB rating by responding to complaints, the largest being by those overlooking the $60 sign up deposit charged your credit card.
They are a for profit business, it's more of a casino than an auction, if you enjoy gambling it's not the worst outlet for your urges, for every winner at those ridiculously low prices, 10 others have nothing to show for their similar amount spent.
No, site like Quibids are a scam. Don't waste your time or money.
