You should ask the pm how to break the lease for any unforceable event at the start of the lease.. You can rent it to someone else and have him/her take over without penalty. They take over your lease, you forfeit the security deposit. Its easier than paying the "buy out fee" which is probably 1 month rent or a fixed amount. Just ask them. These things happen.
