I have a question that has to do with residential zoning..?

You would probably not have a problem in what you plan to do, staying there occasionally. camping is normally permitted on open land. Normally you would not need permission or a permit to camp on your own land.

If you plan to build a permanent structure on the property in the future it would be important to know about the zoning and what would be required in order to build on this property. The local city or county building department would inform you of this prior to the issuance of a building permit.

It might benefit you if you would let local law enforcement know when you arrive and plan to stay on your land and the time frame in which you would be there.

In the event an emergency arise the local law enforcement agency would know you are there and would make attempt to rescue you the event of fire, rock falls or other natural disasters.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good look.

"FIGHT ON"

It depends on the acreage and if there is water above ground. You'll need a camping permit and they are very likely going to require proof you have arrangements for your sewage.

If there is water, lake, river, stream, whatever you will have to put in a septic tank at a minimum

Some locales have additional restrictions on temporary spaces - campers for instance - but they can visit to hunt or just vacation. You own it. So long as you dig a pit for sewage and bury it, there is probably no problem. You should ask the town.

Sure but as soon as you decide to build or live there.........then you MUST have utilities put in.

i recently bought some property in klamath county oregon and its rural residential zoned.. no septic.. no water, no electrical.. my question is am i able to stay on this property without these services.. not to live.. but to visit from time to time
