Anyway, you need to submit your site to search engines. In all seriousness, if you're on the search site, do a search for "submit my site to [search engine name goes here]" and it will most likely route you to the page you need to be on to submit your site. From there, you will find site optimization information.

If you don't feel like paying to be top-ranked on search engines, a cheap way to inch your way to the top is continually updating content on your site --blog, facebook or tweet about it, referencing your site. We have a gift basket company in Calgary and when I do a search for "Calgary gift baskets" on Google, it doesn't even come up. I look through the first 10 pages. The only way I can find us is by searching the actual company name. We need to be found when people are looking for a company that sells them. What do I do?
