Pay your rent using a certified check from your bank. The bank takes the money out of your account when you do this and puts the money into an account under the bank's name. If you landlord takes his sweet time to deposit the check then you will never know.

You are late on rent. His not depositing checks doesn't mean you get to be late.

If your bank is charging you fees, ask them how to prevent this.

Put it in his mailbox on time with a note asking him to please deposit immediately. She is coming since you are late now. Stop being late- she will stop bothering you.

See if he will take a money order. That way you are not effected when he deposits it.

Every month I pay my rent on time (first week) and leave the check in his mailbox. He sometimes goes months on end without depositing a check, which is extremely frustrating because then he makes all the deposits at once (he once deposited 4 months all together) and the bank blocks them for fraud protection which makes me pay a fee.

So I started paying him within the month but later because he does not deposit them. Now his sister is knocking on my door every weekend asking for the check or finds some other random excuse to do so. She is very rude all the time and it makes me feel uncomfortable in my home having someone bother me all the time.

How do I politely ask him/her stop bothering me? I have mentioned the check problem to him and he doesn't seem to care. I don't want to be bothered every weekend or worry about some new ridiculous problem she has to complain about. Do I give him cashiers checks? Do I tell him to deposit on time?
