There are many ways to promote your blog. It will take a few hours a day to do so if you are willing to put the time in.
Write articles 3 to 4 times a week and post them on your blog as well as submit them to article directories such as ezine articles or article base.
Make sure your articles have your niche keywords in them (at least 1.5 % or the article).
Social Media is a help too. Get a Twitter account and a Facebook account with a fan page.
Post your articles on both regularly.
