There are good Greek people and bad Greek people, just like with every other nation. Of course there are some cultural characteristics that mainly Greek people have, just like there are specific characteristics every nation has, but other than that Greeks are no different than any other country of the world. I've met Greeks who have disgusted me and Greeks that I couldn't help but admire. I can say the same for French, Italians, Americans, Austrians, Russian, Chinese and many other people with a different national background I've met though.
I have a very high opinion of the Greeks - for they are the very foundation of our Western Civilization.
I once told a Greek friend of mine here in London, "The Greeks don't have to do anything new, they've done it all already - and I do mean everything." But then the Greeks are not in a race and they'll come up with something to astound the world yet again - they always do.
The Greeks have a great sense of humour - often very earthy too.

They're smart friendly people and Greece has a really relaxed cool atmosphere, but this isn't fair for me to say because I am Greek :P
You might meet some Greeks who are morons but you shouldn't have too many problems with them. Every nation has good people and bad people but Greece in general is a friendly nation.
The only thing I don't like about Greeks is that lots of them smoke a lot and I hate the smell of cigarettes, but there's smokers in every country I guess. Greece has overall produced some great people.
I have been visiting Greece for over 30 years and I have to say I like Greeks a lot , to the point where when I ( rarely ) encounter a cross one , or a rude one , or an unpleasant one , it comes as quite a shock and is quite upsetting .
I think the nicest thing about Greeks is that they are a people who know how to have FUN , get a mob of people around a table , serve some modest food and plenty to drink , put on the music and sing and dance your troubles away until the dawn .

I used to have a Greek boss he was a really nice family man that liked kids and animals and was generous.
They get quite emotional. Each and every time the weather changes.
They're loud, in your face, nosey.
