Switzerland upwards, the rest are in horrible shape, crisis ridden and with high unemployment rates, in France it's around 12% so I wouldn't consider it. If it were me and I could speak the languages, I'd aim towards Germany, or else the UK is one of the fastest growing economies in Europe, but Germany is Europe's powerhouse the 4th economy in the world and an industrial world power specially cause of the area around Cologne in the west and Baden Wurttemberg and Bavaria in the south. It's heaven for engineers. Now you do face a lot of competition but considering your career you're likely to get a job cause it's in high demand and there's a shortage of qualified workers.
In this case (your comment to TexHabs), any place you can get a job. While your degree will probably let you get a visa to look for a job, you'll have to compete against a few thousand Europeans with similar qualifications.
You might face two other major obstacles:
- for any kind of defense related work, there is a strong bias (to put it mildly) towards nationals of the respective country.
- any other space companies (I know of) are French dominated, a knowledge of French would be a definite advantage
For countries:Britain, France, Germany. Spain has a very high unemployment, Italy is (as ever...) limping from one crisis to the next, Greece we don't need to talk about. Eastern Europe has no independent space industry. I've never heard about space programmes from the Scandinavian countries.
If you are not an EU national, you won't be settling in Europe anytime soon. Sorry.
Oh, and it's not a country, it's a continent made up of several different countries. Some countries might be more opening to granting you a visa, depending on your education and skills. But there is no such thing as a 'European visa'.
Best for what reason? No point in us giving our reasons - quite likely none of our reasons will coincide with your most important reasons.
And why do you want to quit your present country - the reasons for quitting might have great influence on the choice of a suitable country to settle in. Also - what is your job or profession? That might influence your choice, as might any language skills you have.
I have a feeling that your question is a homework question, in which case you can write any sort of blather you fancy as long as it is not totally nonsensical.
Depends on your language skills, job experience relevant to what you're looking to do and
your educational background. I would have to know all this before giving you more advise.
