Spain is nearly 5 times the size of Portugal in terms of population
In Portugal only Portuguese is spoken, whereas in Spain there are different countries and languages, namely Castilian (which is the same as Spanish), also Catalan, Basque and Galician, the latter language very related in fact to Portuguese.
One speaks portugese the other speaks spanish
I know their neighbours and share similar culture but are they genetically far apart or are they the same???
