Etching (fake)
It was a method of making swords and daggers that make the steel looking as it has patterns on its surface but at the same time makes them very hard and strong.
The method was imported from India but it was developed in Damascus and thus the name of it. The actual technique has not been preserved but now in Spain where it was originally introduced by the Moorish, still have small busimesses that make them for souvenir purposes.
Steel.... From Damascus
It was a type of steel used long ago, that was a series of overlapped layers of steel on top of each other. It was very strong, yet very expensive at the time of use.
