Should prostitution be made illegal in the UK or not?

I can't decide!!

No that would be an extremely backward step. Prostitution has always existed and will always exist in every culture or society. Making it illegal will drive it into secrecy which will put the prostitutes and their customers at greater risk of criminality, violence and sexually transmitted diseases. We should look to a country like Germany where both male and female prostitution takes place in a properly defined building for that purpose. There are no pimps or criminals involved because the activity is fully legal and the sex workers can and are able to receive frequent medical check ups

The 'oldest profession' is the oldest for a reason. If it were to be made illegal it would only go

underground. Any law would be unenforcable and probably counter productive.

You can't decide? You've asked this question so many times you should have an opinion by now.

France has recently made it illegal. Clients can be prosecuted there. It will be interesting to see how it goes over there as an answer to your question.

Yes, lets fine prostitutes and their pimps to assist the health service!

I cannot see that it would help anyone to make it illegal. Soliciting is illegal, living of the proceedings is illegal (think about that - you can do it but not make a profit), running premises is illegal.

Stupid stupid system

No. The police have more important thins to do than chase around after slappers.

No it would just distract the cops from getting on with catching real criminals.
