That's the necklace, I know the colours is the flag, but what is the pattern on it? what does it stand for? the meaning?
Also, I'm British, so if I was to wear a russian necklace, like this or one of just a Russian flag, would it be offensive to other Russians? Knowing I'm not Russian, but yet wearing their flag?

It would not be offensive of course, I think it would be seen as something nice.
While the necklace has Russian symbols, it is not from Russia, The dog-tag design is American, and this would have been designed by Americans, not Russians. The same company makes dog tags with all different countries symbols.
it is not necklace. It is keychain. It would be weird if you wore a keychain thing on your neck in Russia.
