I received a parking ticket from TCM lastnight for parking accross hatched markings in a FREE private owned car park. Shall I ignore it?
No; don't ignore it.
While parking in an official parking space within the car park may have been free; you weren't in an official parking space. Therefore the fine is likely to be valid. By ignoring it, you risk them taking you to court (where you'll probably end up paying a lot more)
You could try and end up in the Small Claims Court, fine plus interest.
NEVER park on hatched markings, they are there for a reason.

Not if you did park in a hatched area. The fine is for parking like a minge, not for parking without paying.
At your peril? They will take you to court, you will then pay the fine., plus yours and their court costs
