It is most unlikely.
There is a problem in that some Americans are so uptight about race that they see racism everywhere. Such people should not travel beyond the end of their street.
NOT REALLY. There are blacks in Spain, it's common.
Spanish however DESPISE South Americans and deem them as INFERIOR because Cortez and Pizarro conquered them.
I consider Spain an Ignorant and Savage Country and wonder how people could be proud of being a "Spaniard."
It also amazes me how they still run with bulls through streets. That's how savage they are, they represent ignorant, savage, inferior barbarians perfectly. They can't even handle there economy after the TRILLIONS of $$$ they stole from the Amerindians.
If you WERE to visit...
And, who knows? It's not what people report, but it's not the same as being in the US, either. There are no laws to protect you from slurs, or people staring.
Then again, if you use a couple of phrases in Spanish and smile, then you'll probably be fine. You aren't FROM Africa, and you aren't a player on the opposing team, that they dislike, because he's a threat to their team's winning (which is what you probably see the most of).
I'm African-American and my parents are Kenyan. I was planning on going to Spain as sort of a graduation present for myself and I was wondering if the racism against Africans and Blacks is really as bad as I've read and see when watching soccer matches. And is there some places worst about racism than others? I just want to go somewhere more welcoming and if Spain isn't it I can find another place instead of putting myself through a terrible time.
