For those unfamiliar with Euro currency, you will find you can spend money in any language. Coins are NEVER bought/sold via a currency exchange upon returning home. So what you do in the airport is to buy a bunch of junk keychains and give it to friends at work. That is so you can use up your change.
Greece is in the Euro-Zone and thus has the Euro as it's currency.
