Spend it close to home, but rent a room and invite friends over. If you do not have money for that and friends don't want to help spread out the costs. Do you have family you like in other places that you can stay with and would enjoy your company.

I enjoy going to LEGOLAND in California because it is not too far from the Pacific Ocean (less than 2 miles). The LEGOLAND Hotel has actual LEGO sculptures all over the place.

Going into the cool weather is always nice. If you live somewhere that is mostly cold then enjoy the summer sun at the beach and with a picnic.

Asad I think you should go to the Maui Island. I have visited to Maui long time before and these the the best venues over there:

? Kahanu Garden

? Makahiku Falls
