Where have you already been? Any or all of the countries bordering Iguazu Falls in South America would be good. Since I lived in Italy t he last 13 yearsand have a home in Colorado in the US, I've already seen a lot of Europe, North America and the Caribbean, but have never been to South America although I've been close enough to see the coast of Venezuela. I particularly like waterfalls and Iguazu looks spectacular.
The tiger temple Wat Pa Luang Ta Bua in Thailand, Denali National Park in Alaska, the Fiordland National Park in New Zealand, and the Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica are all spectacularly beautiful and interesting places.
Or you might consider Keukenhof Garden in the Netherlands (I'm going in a couple of days), Prague, the Bavarian Alps, Cinque Terre, Florence, Iceland and Yosemite & Yellowstone National Parks.
Puerto Rico has many different sites and activities. On our first trip we started in San Juan and toured the entire city. Drove to El Junque and hiked to the top via the rain forest side. Then went to Fajardo and took a night time kayak tour to a bio-luminescent lake. The next day we sailed on a catamaran to a nearby island for snorkeling. Then we drove to Ponce and stayed the night. From Ponce we drove to the Arecibo radio telescope and some nearby caves. Then on to the dry forest in the southwest. Then finally to Rincon for a beautiful sunset and Aguadilla where we caught a flight back home. On our second trip we went to the islands of Vieques, Culebra, and Culebrita for beaches, swimming snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking.
I really enjoyed Havana Cuba. The old Spanish architecture was amazing. The people where all really nice, music was being played in every little café, those old 1940's cars where everywhere. It was like stepping into a time machine.
