I have spent many hours trying to plan a vacation to Europe. This vacation would include (currently): Germany, Italy, France, and London. It would be about two months long or so (I'm still working on exact dates). But it looks like it may be unrealistic because of my budget. I would love to have it next summer because after that, I'm going to college and wouldn't be able to do it for many years. I'm planning this with my family; I'm just the main organizer.
So I was thinking that maybe INSTEAD of going to Europe, we could vacation in Hawaii. It would be much more practical and cheaper. We could stay there longer, and not stress beforehand about all this money we're spending. Do you think this a good idea?
So my question is if you think we should just keep save for awhile and go to Europe, or go to Hawaii and not stress?
Also, is Hawaiian Airlines good? I've read different websites about it and the bad and good reviews are pretty balanced.
Thank you so much!
Elizabeth
This depends on what your family's interests and expectations are. Both would be great vacations, but very different. In your case, Hawaii may be the way to go because of your budget constraints. Hawaii has beautiful beaches, and exotic locations. I spent the last 13 years living in Europe and loved it; you might want to wait until you have the budget and time to enjoy it even more. Hawaiian airlines is fine.
Why not Costa Rica? It is one of the best places for spending holidays. Lovely beaches, beautiful rental homes, Delicious food and the perfect surroundings to let go off your worries. The place is worth a visit. You can check out the details about the place on http://www.crneeds.com/
I agree with the others, go to Hawaii it's very beautiful, lots of activities available, and all is within budget.
Save Europe for when you get married or when you finish college, you can go by yourself
But I would recommend to travel abroad in college, it's worthwhile and you will come back as a changed person
