So I can't decide what I want to do. I'm currently going to school to become a Physical Therapists assistant and living at home with my parents still. I have an itch to travel the US and maybe even Europe, while at the same time have another itch to move out and live on my own. However I can't afford to do both being a college student. I don't know if I would be able to do much traveling once I start my job as a PTA down the road unless they get fair vacation time. I know this isn't much of a question to ask the internet, but I was hoping people could give me some ideas of how to handle my situation.

Live at home as long as you can. Travel when you can, and save your money while you can.

Study hard save hard get a working holiday visa for a yr overseas, I'll get get work experience and build a brilliant work ethic also u will get a taste of the world, get ur education first then u can even volunteer overseas and make a brilliant difference. Stay home as long as u can orove out and learn to super budget but defiantly travel travel travel

I think it depends on your relationship with your parents and on your living situation there. Do you have enough privacy? Do you pretty much lead your own life, or do your parents interfere with your decisions?

I guess I would decide to live at home and travel. But of course, I don't know your situation and can't decide for you.

Unless your parents are driving you crazy (or you are driving them crazy), there's no doubt in my mind you should choose traveling over your own place.

If you really want your own place, you could get a million roommates to cut down on costs. Lots of ways to cut down on travel costs too. Research that as well.

I'd say stay at home and use whatever you make to travel around....If you start working it will be difficult for you to stop working and start travelling...By then you will have other responsibilities and travelling will be more difficult to do.
