Traveling the world is one of the most exaggerated things people talk about. They don't realize the logistics and time required. I've traveled and backpacked in many areas and many different countries. One of the biggest mistakes I did on my first backpacking trip was just to plow through countries. I missed the point of traveling. All across the world there are little gems that you have never heard of, places of such beauty and places where you just click with the people. Stay in those places. Why would you leave?
Then you have the logistics and time issue. The world is a big place. Going on buses, trains, planes and everything in between gets tiresome. If your goal is to see the whole world in say a year all you'll see are the $hitty tourist places that everyone sees. My suggestion is this. Pick an area of the world. For instance I did an 8 month long backpacking trip starting in India and working my way to Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and then the rest of Southeast Asia. Another suggestion is to start in Israel and work you way east. Or South America. Whatever really.
But don't make the same mistake I did. It's not about visiting as many countries as possible. It's about something else. Different things for different people but I know it's not about that.
My preference is to spend more time in a country rather than just travel through countries. But I have met many people who have gone to many countries and had great adventures.
It is easy to go to several countries in one trip so you can easily do 3 or 4 countries (or more per year on a single plane ticket)
With the right job or a good job yes. Travel is not that expensive today. Woth the money some places are some I would never return to. So what do you like there. Fun can be found anywere you are. Keep it simple and do not get in card games with trike drivers. You never forget being shot at, sleeping on porchs, Quit walks to the next safe town, and other travel adventures. If you mean shopping at the Mall they are the same world wide stay home.
Its good to travel world but one must first travel his country. I love travelling too, that doesn't mean i want to travel the world. Its all about exploring your desire place, people explore and visit their favourite places again and again. yeah its worth it when you are quite happy with the one to whom you are travelling and the place you like to spend your time at.
By private charter, yes, to improve the quality of experience.
Avoid mass transportation. Remain with a selected class.
Safer, more destinations, and less vomiting.
Good luck with that. It is good to have dreams, especially dreams like these.
