For cost and value probably Mexico. What makes Costa Rican beaches so great is that many are near places where there are a lot of opportunities to observe a lot of diverse flora and fauna and to do a lot of outdoor sports in spectacular surroundings. However, if you are not the kind of person who loves visiting national parks and you just want to crash on a beach somewhere, Mexico has plenty of places that are just as nice and less expensive.

Mexico is a best place to enjoy various beach games and activities. I have been here couple of times and it was always a great traveling experience.

My wife and I are living in Mexico City, we have been to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Escondido, Vallarta, Cabos and for our comming aniversary we are thinking of changing and going to Costa Rica, we only have 4 nights.
We are interested in relaxing in a nice beach.
Does it make sense to take the international flight to Costa Rica or should we stay in the lovely mexican beaches? If yes, what place do you recommend?
